FAQ & Troubleshooting
Where is my data stored?
Everything lives in a workspace folder on your Mac. You picked the location when you created the workspace. There is no cloud sync, no server. Your sessions, notes, transcripts, and OnePagers are plain files you can back up, sync, or move yourself.
Can I use multiple workspaces?
Yes. Use the workspace switcher to manage several at once (work, personal, side project). Each workspace is fully isolated.
My Google Calendar events aren't showing up in Azynote.
Check in this order:
- Open Apple Calendar.app and confirm the events are visible there. If not, the issue is between Google and macOS, not Azynote.
- In Apple Calendar > Settings > Accounts, check the Refresh Calendars interval (see Prerequisites).
- In Azynote: Settings > AI Configuration > Calendar Integration. The Status should say "Calendar access granted". If not, click Refresh Access or grant permission via System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendar.
- Restart Azynote.
The first OnePager I generate is taking forever.
The first time Azynote transcribes, it downloads the Whisper model in the background. After that, it is fast. OnePager generation itself depends on Gemini latency, usually 10 to 30 seconds.
I see "ADC Status: Expired" in Vertex AI mode.
Your gcloud credentials expired. Click Re-authenticate in Settings, or run gcloud auth application-default login again in your terminal.
I see a 403 / Permission Denied error from Vertex AI.
Your company Google account doesn't have the right role on the GCP project. Ask your GCP admin to grant you the Vertex AI User role (roles/aiplatform.user) on the project.
How do I report a bug or share feedback?
Send an email to support@azynote.com with a screenshot, a short description, and what you were trying to do. The rougher the edge, the more useful the report.
Welcome aboard. Have fun.
