What AI models does Azynote support?

Azynote currently uses Google Gemini as its AI provider. You bring your own API key: Gemini offers a generous free tier, so most users pay nothing for AI usage. Support for additional LLM providers is planned, and local LLM support is on the roadmap for a fully local experience.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

Your notes and transcription stay entirely on your Mac: no audio is ever uploaded or stored anywhere. When you use AI features, your data goes directly to Google via your own API key. We are never in the middle. Local LLM support is on the roadmap to enable a fully offline experience.

Azynote transcribes your meetings in real-time, directly on your machine. There's no audio file created, no upload to a server, no processing delay. When the meeting ends, your transcription is already complete and ready to use.

Yes, that's the whole point. If your company has already approved Google Gemini, you use that same key with Azynote. Your data flows directly to Google under your existing agreement.
