1.1.0

Azynote 1.1.0 is here, and it's a big one: the first feature release since 1.0 and the biggest update yet. The headline is speaker diarization, but there's a lot packed in below.

🗣️ Who Said What#

Transcripts now separate speakers automatically. As you record, Azynote tells voices apart across both your mic and the system audio, tags every line with a colored speaker dot, and shows a key of everyone in the room above the transcript. Drop in an existing recording and it asks how many speakers to expect. It all runs on-device, no audio ever leaves your Mac.

✨ Improve Transcript#

A new Improve button (plus an automatic pass after each recording) sends just the transcript text to Gemini to clean up what Whisper gets wrong: proper nouns, acronyms, and generic "Speaker 1" labels. If the session is linked to a calendar event, it even names the speakers from the attendee list. Don't like the result? Revert is always one click away.

⌨️ Reach Azynote From Any App#

Chat and voice used to live inside the Azynote window, so using them meant leaving whatever you were doing to go click into the app. Now three global hotkeys summon Azynote on top of any app, without breaking your flow. Ctrl+Shift+C opens the chat, Ctrl+Shift+V jumps straight into a voice conversation (no clicking the mic first), and Ctrl+Shift+O opens the new Command Panel: select text in any app, pick a transform (proofread, improve, translate), and the result is pasted right back in place.

📅 Smart Calendar Subjects#

Tired of tagging the same recurring meeting every week? You can now write per-subject rules (matching on title, attendee, description, or which calendar an event lives in) that auto-assign subjects to your calendar events as they load. There's a new Rules tab in each subject, and the chat agent can manage them too.

🤝 Delegate Tasks#

Open action items in a OnePager now have a Delegate button. Click it and the task is handed to the chat agent, which does the work and writes its answer right back under the task with a "Done by Azynote" stamp.

✍️ Editor Snippets#

The note editor's @ now opens a snippet picker. Beyond the built-in @t timestamp, you can define your own snippets in the new Editor settings tab and drop them in as you type.

This release also ships with a handful of smaller fixes. The most noticeable: closing one of several open windows no longer makes it pop back open. 🐛
