1.0.0

This one is special: Azynote 1.0.0 is shipping. Huge thanks for sticking with the betas all the way to here. Below is what's new since RC-14, plus what 1.0 means in practice.

🎚️ Per-Source Pause#

The mic and system-audio indicators in the recording bar (and the Mini Player) are now individually clickable. Click the mic to pause just your mic for a side conversation while the meeting keeps capturing. Click the system-audio side to pause just that while your mic stays live. The master Pause still pauses both at once.

⏱️ Step Out, Catch Up in Seconds#

When you have to step away mid-meeting, type /brb in the chat. Transcription keeps running, a banner marks the moment you left, and when you return you click "I'm back" to get a tight summary of everything you missed, written by your currently selected chat model. Transcripts are also now stamped with podcast-style elapsed timecodes ([00:14:23] Me: / [00:14:23] Zoom:), with paused and away time subtracted from the clock.

💳 The paid flow is live#

The Try Free for 14 days CTA on the landing now points at the current macOS build automatically (no redeploy when a new version ships). Renewal checkouts go through a server-side gate that validates your license and locks the email field for existing customers, closing a social-engineering vector. Pricing is wired to production Polar: this is the real thing now, no more sandbox. Beta licenses keep working. Nothing on your side changes.

🐛 Notable Fixes#

5 fixes
  • Speaker label case is now preserved end-to-end (no more "ME:" turning into "Me:" when you didn't ask for it)
  • Asset switching in the editor rebound to Opt+Cmd+Arrow so it stops fighting tab navigation
  • Chat Stop is instant, MCP server tests are now cancellable
  • Audio system reset no longer crashes on Java module access
  • License settings now link straight to activate.azynote.com

Now that 1.0 is out, I'm looking for early customers as much as testers. If you know anybody who might find Azynote interesting, please put us in touch, it would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
