1.6.1

Azynote 1.6.1 rounds out 1.6: your calendar can now tell Azynote what to do, the agent builds you pages instead of long answers, and chatting with Claude or goose over ACP gets faster and lighter.

⏰ Your calendar tells Azynote what to do (alpha)#

Put @azynote in an event on your Azynote calendar (Settings › Calendar) and Azynote does what it says when the event starts: a reminder at 10, a summary of your mail every Monday at 9. Or just ask the chat: "remind me tomorrow at 10 to buy water". The answer lands on the orb, a run your Mac slept through waits there as Missed, and clicking the notification opens the answer in its thread. It's an alpha: expect rough edges, and tell us what you'd want it to do.

🪟 Pages the agent builds for you (alpha)#

When an answer deserves more than a chat bubble, Azynote designs a view: a page in its own window, opened from a card under the answer, in the chat or on the orb. It can be anything, a comparison, a timeline, even a game or a calculator you play with. Put the orb over it and say "give me more detail": the same window updates. Links to your sessions open them in Azynote, and saving the thread as a session keeps its views on the session's OnePager screen. A view only shows: to change something, you ask. It's an alpha too, so its look and behaviour may still change.

🤝 Agents over ACP, lighter#

Going back to a chat thread now continues where the agent left off, with what it already read, instead of starting over from the last messages. Sessions the agent is done with are closed, and the background helpers it starts no longer pile up and eat memory after it goes. Claude works over ACP through the community claude-agent-acp adapter, and Settings no longer says otherwise.

🐛 Notable Fixes#

6 fixes
  • The orb's card shows its steps while Gemini, OpenAI or Local answer, instead of freezing until the end
  • Repeating meetings open their own session from the calendar, instead of saying the event moved
  • A deleted subject no longer blocks a meeting's subject or its calendar rules
  • What Azynote learns about you keeps learning on Gemini, where each pass was cut short
  • A deleted session stays deleted, even after a Save as session that failed
  • The mini player's note stays closed when you drop a file on it

Have a great week with it! 🗓️
