๐ Keep your agent warm#
The CLI engine starts your agent from scratch for every OnePager, Smart Action and one-liner, so you pay its startup every single time. There is a new ACP engine in Settings โ AI that starts your agent once and keeps it running, so everything after the first request skips that wait entirely. The slower your agent is to wake up, the more it saves. It also brings something CLI never could: the in-app chat panel, powered by your own agent. It works with Goose, Cortex Code, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code and anything else that speaks the protocol. Claude Code does not, so the CLI engine stays exactly where it is.
๐ Tables you can actually read#
A pasted markdown table used to arrive as a wall of pipes in the body font, with nothing lining up. Table rows now render in monospace, so the pipes stack into columns, and the cells are padded automatically when you paste one in. Old notes tidy themselves as you open them, and opening a note still never writes to it: the tidy-up rides along with your next real edit.
โ๏ธ Lists that build themselves#
Press Enter at the end of a list item and the next line already has its marker, at the same indentation. Bullets keep the character you chose, numbered items count up, and a new checkbox is always unchecked. Enter on an empty item ends the list, so two Enters get you out. Tab and Shift+Tab indent and outdent, in spaces rather than a tab character, which is why indenting now actually looks like something happened.
โจ๏ธ Formatting shortcuts that reach your text#
Cmd+1 through Cmd+4 make a line a heading. They were supposed to before, and never did: the app was grabbing those keys app-wide before the editor could see them, and on a French keyboard they could not have matched anyway. Both are fixed.
Headings, bullets, checklists and quotes now apply to the whole line, so you do not have to select anything first, and applying one replaces whatever the line already was instead of stacking another marker in front of it. Press the same one again to take it off. Quotes are independent, so a quoted list stays a quoted list.
Bold and italic can finally be undone the way you would try: select the word, press Cmd+B again. Before, you had to select the asterisks too, or you got ****hello****. And ***bold italic*** now renders as one thing rather than showing you a stray asterisk that made a perfectly valid note look broken.
๐ Two shortcuts moved#
Both for the same reason: the app was claiming them everywhere, ahead of every text field, so nothing underneath could ever use them.
Light and dark is now Ctrl+Tab, which frees Shift+Tab to outdent, and to work as a backward tab in every field in the app, which it never did.
Navigation is now Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+5 for Home, Timeline, Tasks, Subjects and Calendar. That frees Cmd+1 to Cmd+4 for headings, where they belong next to bold and italic. The rule is now simple: Cmd acts on your document, Ctrl acts on the app.
๐ Point a note at your session's media#
Type @ in a note and the session's screenshots, audio and attachments appear in the same picker as your snippets, matched on any part of the filename. Pick one and you get a link to it. Put your cursor in that link and the media strip highlights the file it points at, so you can see which one it is without anything covering the text you are editing. If the file is gone, the link is struck through in red right there in the note.
โ Your tasks, reachable from outside#
Tasks live inside your OnePagers, and until now the only thing that could find one was the Tasks view. Claude Desktop, Cursor and anything else connected to Azynote can now list your open tasks, tick them off and add notes to them, and the app redraws when they do. The in-app chat agent can look a task up instead of only acting on one you hand it.
๐ Notable fixes#
4 fixes
- The CLI engine is now just called CLI, not Claude CLI, because it always ran whatever command you gave it. Your existing setup is migrated for you.
- Names you paste keep their meaning. A line break or a quote in a note title used to produce a broken file and two different names in two places.
- OnePager presets over MCP report what was actually written. Asking for a preset that does not exist no longer reports success using the name you asked for.
- The Home screen loses its priority sort and HIGH badge. Neither was ever populated, so neither ever did anything.
