💬 One conversation, typed or spoken#
You can now type, talk and type again without repeating yourself. A live conversation with Gemini or OpenAI starts knowing what you just typed in the chat, and when you go back to typing, the chat knows everything that was said out loud. Turn-by-turn voice was already answered in the same conversation, and now every way of talking is.
🎙️ Voice, in one choice#
The Voice row in Settings, AI engines is now a single choice: Off, Turn by turn, Live with Gemini or Live with OpenAI. Turn by turn is always answered by your Chat engine, the one that answers when you type, so there is no second engine to keep in mind. The presets set it for you, and your current setup carries over when you update.
🔔 Know when a new version is out#
When a new Azynote is released, an arrow with a dot appears in the rail and in the menu bar. See what's new opens the release notes with the download, and Skip this version hides that release. Azynote never installs anything by itself, and you can turn the notice off in Settings, General, Updates.
🔌 MCP servers, no restart#
Adding, switching or signing in to an MCP server now reaches the chat on your next message. It used to take a restart.
🐛 Notable Fixes#
2 fixes
- Changing your custom prompt or switching the chat engine no longer makes the chat forget the conversation you were having
- Live with OpenAI on a compatible server now says why it can't run, instead of quietly switching to turn by turn
Happy talking! 🎙️
